geese scared of pool..

do i have the only geese scared of water?? only had geese 4 times but they always went in the kiddie pool we have. its about 6' across . but they will not go in. i always got a kick watching the other ones , they can do fast laps while going under n out and repeat. we did put one in and she yelled and got out..

I put mine into my mum's pond today when we visited, they screamed bloody murder....I suspect it's because it had gone quite green and couldn't see beneath them because they don't squeal if I fill the bath up for them.

I have two geese that love to swim, but if theyre not in the mood then they won't touch the pool lol. I'll set them down and they'll yell and climb out. But other times I'll set them down and they swim like crazy.
Maybe the water wasn't the temperature they wanted, or maybe they just weren't in the mood

They aren’t used to it, it takes some more time than others, they must think snapping turtles or great white sharks are in there.

well today 1 went in.. amazing... the other one just peeped for her to get out.. funny.. i had to put up a short fence for the chickens as the geese just bully them when i give treats. gave em watermelon rinds with good meat on and the geese grab em away even thou they dont like em.. i think i got Antifa geese.. they do like us when we let em out at nite.. they untie my shoes every time and bite my scabs. course they protect my wife n lay at her feet.
