Why is this happening?!
Today my bf and I were coming back from Van Buren and what do we see on the bridge as we are coming home???
Yet another broiler! And it was sitting right on the bridge, just off the actual highway. So my bf stops and backs up. I was a bit afraid she was already dead but she was alive!
So now we have another broiler, at least this one is a hen.
She seems okay and is eating and walking around so she goes out in the morning witht eh rest of the broilers.
She has one leg that is more developed than the other. One pinky sized the other thumb sized.
How is it that this keeps happening?!
We are going to call her Bridg'ette since she was found on the bridge.

Bridg"ette" LOVE IT! Thats so great you are stopping and picking them up. I guess its something thats just meant to be. We have a LARGE poultry/egg place about 3 miles down the road. Rose Acres Farm. We never see any chickens on the ground, thank goodness! I would be giving them a call ASAP...tell them to get thier butts in order.
