Scopes are no good for showers, you watch the whole sky to see showers.

We have alot of folks who hang out at the conowingo dam with their scopes, watching the bald eagles. So cool. And folks with scopes are more than happy to let you have a look see. In fact, they secretly WANT you to and love it when you ask.

good ole walfart has quite a few and all price ranges. I think ANY scope would be a fun starter!
