Gender and Breed?? updated pics 4/26 pg 3 chicks about 6 weeks old

Yeah, Ebony is looking kind of dude-ish but it's so hard to tell with mutt-breed chickens! I have one named Claude that has a HUGE comb and wattles (I got her when she was about 2 months old and by a month later was thinking, "well, crap, a roo. There's no way it's a hen"). And now she's my best layer.

The polish seems accurate: that crest is hard to miss! May be a mix with those colours though.

Are you sure those newer ones are RIRs? My RIR babies last year were much redder. Those look more like BOs or something similar...
The one with the Cleopatra eye makeup looks like an EE to me.

Ebony is a barred rock and and still looks like a pullet to me. I have 3 a few weeks behind yours and their combs seem to be bigger then my others too. Maybe they just grow faster then the others?

The sisters are RIR's for sure the new ones could be too, give them a few weeks...sometimes they look lighter then they should
