Gender and breed?

Hello, we just were given two new chickens and the were sure they were female. They’re about 2-3 months I think. Any idea what breed they are? No one had a clue.

All are pullets the black a copper one is a black sex link

The black one is a Black Copper Marans, notice the leg feathers. I'm guessing the brown one is a New Hampshire, as she's not quite red enough for a Rhode Island Red, and I think her color is too uniform for a red sex link.

Thanks for your response! the brown one has feathers on her feet and legs also. Is that a New Hampshire trait?

yeah it’s definitely a wheaten maran Mr google helped me with that one

As others have stated, looks like you have a Black Copper Marans and a Wheaten Marans - Really good dark-brown egg layers!
