Gender & Breeds

I know 1 and 2 are Polish but any idea on gender? The others I have no clue on breeds but I am curious if 4 and 5 are roosters instead of pellets.

The feathered feeted ones are likely cochins. It's too early to tell gender but 4 looks suspect of cockerel

I was thinking 4 looked a lot like a very young rooster. I got 19 from a mystery bin and 4 was in the bantam bin but it does seem a lot bigger than the rest of the 18.

I know some people have tricks of knowing what the genders are by coloring or head shapes which is why I asked so soon. 3 has feathered legs so not sure Maran. 4 is a frizzle but wasn't sure what breed exactly but much bigger than the rest and was in the bantam bin. I accidentally skipped 6 when I did these. I just noticed combs coming in on 4 and 5. I was hoping 5 was a cream legbar pulled but that comb started showing like 4 did.

You can start to tell genders at week 4 by looking at comb and wattle growth. You can be more sure when they are 6-8 weeks though.

I didn't mean to put Cochin or Maran for #4. He's a Cochin. Marans do have feathered legs. If you got #3 out of a bantam bin then he is Cochin too. 5 could be a Legbar, but a lot of chicks have that pattern at that young of an age. Repost pictures when he starts to feather out more.
