Hi folks,
First time poster but long time reader. Any help in identifying my chicks. All hatched 11th Nov 2018. I have 2 SL Barnies, 2 GLW & 2 Blue Australorps. I have read through a few posts but really still not sure of gender & your opinions would be appreciated.

Pic #1 BA - Roo? Large comb, reasonably red including wattles, tail feathers seem to say Roo, will have a peck at you and seen charging others occasionally.

Pic #2 BA - hen?? (wishful), smaller comb, very little colouring, tail feathers more absent & appears to have slightly thinner legs.

Pic #3 GLW - hen? (also wishful), smaller comb & wattles than other one with little colouring, no tail feathers, wing pattens formed much later than mate, very calm.... mummies girl I call her, always with mother hen.

Pic #4 GLW - roo?, much larger comb & wattles, quite reddish, wing panel colouring been there quite early on, has tail feathers quite early, not shy to have a peck when holding and charges/dominates other chicks. Also not shy to steal food from our Alpha RIR hen (laser Dragon - kids named her).

Pic #5 & 6 SL Barnies - I’m at a loss to their genders. I think I may have 2 Roos. #5 pretty sure is a roo.
Thank you all for any responses and wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2019.

1 and 5 are definite cockerels. 6 probably is too, but it has a rose comb, so I'm thinking it is a mix with a Wyandotte. 2 could be a pullet, but those legs are pretty thick. I'd give it at least a couple more weeks before deciding its sex. The Wyandottes also seem too young to sex accurately. Wait until their feathers are all in, which is probably 2 to 3 weeks more.

Much appreciated for your replies folks. My double gold laced Barnevelder went broody and so I decided to purchase 6 eggs and see what hatched as I wanted two to three more for my flock and was hoping I might get lucky for a pullet of each but if I only get one I’ll be happy. Was a great educational journey for my young children to witness from egg to hatchling and beyond. Now the task of dealing with the cockerels, re-home what I can and maybe pot for the rest, contrary to what she who must be obeyed says. Keeping a roo is out of the question, city folks, happy to put up with a barking dog all night but Lo and behold a rooster crowing = council complaints.
Once again folks, thanks and have a fantastic new year.

An update, mid Feb 19. They all, yes all turned out to be cockerels. Sending for sale to local Lions Club auction
