gender help

My barred rock and leghorn, first birds for my backyard farm. Looks like they are both roosters, was hoping for a confirmation one way or another.

How old are they, cause as of now they both look like pullets to me.

These two are about 10 weeks.

they are clucking, is it too early for crowing?

here is a pic of mine at 10 weeks, yours look small, maybe mine are just fat! lol.....the one you see here in the back of the BR, did a 'baby' crow yesterday.....the rest are pretty much still making the baby cheeps, I am waiting to see when it stops completely...one or two are starting to cluck. 10 weeks is a bit early to actually crow, it depends on the breed....I expect to hear a few more start..I suspect the BR in this pic is a roo as well as maybe 2 more I have...bummer...

Ok so they are both hens but the leghorn has developed some kind of black funk under her wings. Any idea what that is? She's jumpy so I'll have to trick her then settle her to get a good pic.

Erhm, so the black funk was potting soil from my potato patch.
