If anyone can help that would be great, I was wondering the gender of my two chickens.
I had a friend tell me that my dark one is male and white one is female, was just wanting a clarification

thank you

The black one is definitely a cockerel. It looks like the white one has a comb coming in too. Could you post another picture of the white one?

I would wait another week or two and see if the white one's comb gets bigger and more red. It is a bit early to tell.

Both are looking male like to me but they’re too young to accurately sex or ID breed. Repost when they’re 6-8 weeks old. Include clear pictures in natural lighting of the head and body for both breed and sex ID. Also helps to know where you got them and generally what country you’re from.

Ok thank you. Received the eggs which they hatched from, from my sister-in-law as they are from two of her chickens.
Also I am from Melbourne Australia
