Looks like a pullet. How old is it?

Its 17 weeks sold as a day old and returned as a cockerel a couple weeks back but I am not sure it looks pullet to me but seems to have hackle feathers,never had SLW before to compare

Is it a cross between two breeds? (Wyandotte and Light Brahma perhaps?) Looks like a pullet to me.

Looks just like my 16 week old pullets and it does look like a SLW. They are just starting to get wattles and their combs are starting to grow a little.

ETA - the lacing on the hackle feathers makes them look pointy but they are not, at least not on mine.

Looking pretty henny to me.

I had a Wyandotte that fooled me until she laid (and thankfully she was the first that did ). She was hatchery, so she was poorly laced, looked somewhat roo-colored (lighter in the neck and saddle area) and was doing that obnoxious curly tail thing that some hens do to try and drive you nuts.

Any one male trait isn't enough to confirm a roo.
