male of female? Can we see that yet? This Pigeon (Pidgey) is about 6-7 weeks? Not sure. We found this bird along with another one at our sils farm 4-5 weeks ago after their cats had been on a killing trip

A guess on gender would be just that - a guess. Even pigeons can be confused which results in male/male and female/female pairings. As an adult there are certain actions and mannerisms that can help with gender ID.

Definitely female the beads and the pink sweater are a dead give away.

As far as the pigeon I would guess female especially if it lays an egg. Other wise I will guess male.
I always get it right it seems if you give me 2 guesses.

Lol!! I was told a female had a skinnnier as well as a flatter head

As an indicator this is often true, there are just too many exceptions. My best daddy cockbird was given me as a hen! lol He has a sleek feminine head. Then there's my little feral Loper ... I was sure she was a cock with her very prominent forehead bulge, until she paired up and laid 2 eggs.

So far it’s an inside bird. We might keep it that way. I love how it follows me around the house
