This little one is biggest and loves taking charge. They hatched the day after Christmas. I have NO idea what it is. Can you guys help me? A book said that polits love takeing charge early so I don’t know.

It’s too young to sex. Silkies take a couple of months to sex, unless you get them DNA tested. I’d post back when they’re 10-12 weeks old.

They are still too young to tell for sure by appearance...but believe me...I know just how impatient one can get trying to determine the sex of a silkie. My first time getting them, I couldn’t tell what they were until around laying age; however, when I hatched out some the next year, I had picked up on some things that helped me tell them apart pretty early on.
