Gender?

Okay, trying this again at 8 weeks old now. I thought for sure these were both males because I have another blue splash that is half the size if these two with a much lighter comb hatched the same date. I believe number 1 is a roo. But I am not sure about number 2. These are Orpington x Easter Eggers. Is any red on a blue splash going to mean it's male? Because the bird numbered 1 doesn't have any red on it and I am confident it is male because of the "three rows of peas" thing. And the one numbered 2 has a lighter comb and only one row of "peas".

The first is male. Second...idk.
