Genders?

They’re Black Copper Marans; needs to figure out genders soon.

Too early. Post pics at 6-8 weeks. But my guess is both cockerels, because of the redness in the combs.

I don't see any red in the combs, but I agree it is too early to sex these. They need to be feathered out.

Also, I don't think these are black copper Marans or Marans at all. They are both blue, and the darker bird seems to have a rose or pea comb, which isn't right. The lighter one's comb looks like it might be off, too. In any case, these don't look right for Marans to me but could easily be Marans crosses.

Well that isn’t what I want to hear! They were sold to me as a black and a blue copper maran, so I paid that top dollar for chicks that is so lame to do to someone. They mentioned they had Americanas as well. I wonder what egg color I’m going to get..since i really wanted the deep brown/red color.
