general elector psp question

Hello!
I mixed elector psp for the first time, used it, but have a lot left over. Can I save it for a follow up treatment in another week? or should I dump it?
If it should be dumped, where do you dispose of it? we are on a well and I worry about it getting in the ground water, so don't think I should dump it.
