General Question about chick sexing

I have read somewhere that pullets develop tail feathers faster than the cockerels, but I can't find it again. Is this true in your experience? I bought some pullets and I think one may be a roo.

How old are the chicks? I don't use tail feathers until they are a few months old. By then there are usually other clues.

You can always post photos. We might be able to help with them.

They are about four weeks. There are three with tail feathers and one without. Pics to follow.

First one male – heavy legs, posture, and body conformation.

Second one – not sure but looking at the legs leaning male.
