Hey Guys!
I'm looking for a little direction on my upcoming hatches. I bought a brand new Bator from Murray McMurray Hatchery this past week and I'm looking to start a batch of eggs this weekend.
I've already left it on all day yesterday and planning to leave it on today. I have a thermometer in the Bator and found that the Bator thermostat is about 4.5 degrees off, so I adjusted the heat to reflect that.

What I'm wondering is, if the heat reading is off does that mean the Humidity is off as well?

I haven't hatched eggs out for nearly a decade and I'm using a different Bator, so I'm looking for some clear and simple pointers from anyone who has good hatch rates.
This batch I'm doing now is to replace my current flock so it's pretty important but, next month I have expensive Turkey eggs coming that are extremely important. I would like to get the feel of how it's going to go with this current batch before I take on the Turkeys.

I read articles in the incubator and hatching section, but no one really seems to agree. So maybe someone from a similar climate to Norther NH could give me some tips?

I was also wondering if there is a cups measurement of how much water to put on the bator floor for the Right level of Humidity.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
