If I cross , Larry, my mottled Houdan Rooster on a Blue Orp Hen what might I get color wise????
Also if I cross on my RIR hen????

Hi! My crosses were different breeds, but when I crossed mottled with blue --- I got blacks and blues. Some of the males had gold/straw color in the hackles.
A tiny % had some mottling (I got a mott Japanese x blue Silkie cross that has some mottling on her head and a blue Naked Neck Silkie x mott Cochin cross with some mottled feathers on his feet).
No clue on the reds cause I don't breed any red birds
