Ok I’m aware you can not “ make “ a duck go broody , but My question is if I want her to , should aI leave her eggs there and see what happens? And then in like five days or so if she’s not sitting just throw the eggs away? Or what? Also let’s say she does start to set, should I get her away from the drakes ?

You need to set the stage and get conditions right. Get her a nice dark calm place to nest where you can kick the other ducks out of that area. I would put half a dozen golf balls in the nest and continue taking eggs until she sets.

Is she laying down alot? I have one hen who seems to be acting the same way, my hunch was molting or broody?

If your ducks are free range you need not separate the drakes. If penned then you'll need to separate the sexes when the hen shows signs of brooding. The mallards I used to have pulled a lot of feathers to line their nest when they were just starting to brood. My muscovies did the same. A typical clutch is 10-15 eggs so your hen will not go broody until she has laid the full clutch. Leave the eggs in the nest and try to be patient. Some breeds are better at brooding than others and you can look online to determine if your breed is one of those that does brood well. If the hen doesn't brood an incubator or a broody chicken can be used to hatch the eggs.

I'd put just one golf ball (dummy egg) in the nest to start with and then add a dummy for each egg laid. Should the nest be in a safe place I'd just keep hands off and let the duck do her thing.
