I brought home 4 pullets last weekend. They should all be about 11 weeks old, but it's a guess. I don't think they were handled much before I got them. I have one Delaware who seems treat motivated. Then a Wellsummer who is very scared of me. I've picked her up and put worms and scratch right I front of her face and she just cries and shows disdain for my treats. I feel the Americana (mix) will come around, although today she just stared at the treats and wouldn't budge until I freed her. The other is a New Hampshire red and I think she'll come around eventually. She seems smart and seems to pay attention.
Does anyone have any tips? Also, they should be into worms, right? They seem not to be. They did enjoy some small slugs yesterday however.

All my chickens seem to love hard boiled eggs. It sounds weird, but my chickens go crazy for them. Another favorite among my birds is cooked pasta noodles.

Just remember, the best way to a chickens heart is through her stomach.

Good luck!
