Getting a couple chicks..

I just had to share that I can hardly contain myself. I found a farm here that is a bit over an hour away that has a variety of baby chicks for sale.

I attempted to hatch out some shipped eggs and only ONE hatched. Ugh. I will now have some companions for my baby - YAY!! She thinks she has a splash silkie too.... I so hope so!! Otherwise maybe another Ameraucana to go with my loner..hmm... It will be SOOO hard to walk off with only 2!

Anyway, we're going on Wednesday..and visiting her farm. My boys should love that too. Okay, anyway, just had to share!

sometimes when you get eggs shipped,they turn scrambled.I once bought 100 quail eggs..only 2 came out,and one died 1 month later from a wasp sting.I still have the one.Hes a rooster named Little Man.he has 3 hens and 6 babies now.
