I would like everyones help to get Blue Salmon Faverolles recognized by the APA and ABA. Any ideas of how I should go about this? I am sure there are enough breeders around the country to achieve this we just need to work together. Blue and Black Faverolles bantams are recognized by the ABA and they are twice as rare as these birds. Anyone with any experience getting colors recognized please tell me about your experience.

Here is my pair

Wait, tell me if I read this wrong, you said Blue Salmons in Bantam are far more rare than LF? . . . Err, isn't it the other way around?

I'd love to help if I actually had some, but I have your support.

I absolutely love Blue Salmons.

I'm not sure why it would be too hard to reach a standard for them though - It should be the same as for Blue Wheatens.

Nope I was talking about pure blue and black faverolles not salmons the pure BBS are extremely rare and are recognized by the ABA and there is a group of 5 breeders trying to get the LF recognized by the APA they are very very very rare though and only those 5 or 6 breeders have them. LF blue salmons are very rare I know of 3 or 4 breeders working with them. I have tried contacting both the APA and ABA and had no response from either and I have emailed people in both organizations several times.

Okay I read it again, now I see. . .

Well otherwise I wouldn't know what to say, other than I would think the thing to help is getting all the breeders together for a standard, contacting the APA, and also getting more people to have Blue Salmons, so it isn't so rare and unknown.
