We have two adult Pekin ducks. We got them both this year as adults. They came from different friends needing to re-house them and they get along really well. We have a large pond and they just stay on the bank and move around where they feel like it. We haven't had to feed them with all the bugs and weeds they're getting. Well now we've gotten four baby Pekins. They're in the coop with chickens now, but when they're feathered out we plan to put them in the pond with the others. We are going to build them a structure for the winter and we'd like to train the older two to come to the shelter when they need to for food and as the weather changes. Any suggestions as to how to get them to know that the new house is theirs? Thanks!
