I went last night and bought a digital themometer/hygometer at Walmart. I also had a meat themometer that my brother-in-law uses stuck through one of the vent holes.

So when I put the ditigal one flat on the screen it shows 65% humitidy and when I place it in the turning rack it shows 39% humidity so which is right?

Walmart didn't have a water weasel so I'm off to the Dollar Tree today.

Boy, I'm still amazed we got eggs to hatch this spring without checking humidity and opening and closing lid so much. Now I consider my polish chickens super chickens!

it was over near the lightbulbs, bathroom scales, etc.

I bought the water weasel today and have the probe inside of it.

I hope my all my eggs arrive tomorrow.

If I get them started Saturday they should hatch 2 or 3 days before my knee surgery. I hope I will have a good hatch so I can lay on the couch with the brooder next to me and play with baby chicks.

Incubating is so much fun!!!
