Getting my first chicks next week

I am getting bantam silkie chicks next week. Any pointers? These are my first chicks ever.

Welcome to BYC, how old are they going to be? Where are you located (climate)?
Have 3-4 square ft in the brooder per chick, I recommend purina starter/grower for feed and I would ask about if they had vaccinations.
