Getting my hens to lay in more than one box.

How do I get my hens to lay in more than one box? There are seven nesting boxes in our coop and only six hens and they fight over one box. I've tried golf balls and fake eggs with no success. This morning I heard one of the hens screaming and I went out to see what was up and she just wanted in the nesting box because another chicken was in there laying. These chickens are pretty dramatic when they want something! Just wandering if there's anything else I can do to get them to using more than one box. Thanks!

How about covering up the favourite box until they get used to using the one next to it.
