Getting new Scovies

[Muscovies]

I am going to go get new scovies this weekend how could I introduce them to the flock put them in there with them or slowly introduce them to the flock.

how old are the ones you have, and how old are the ones you will be getting? I only had 2 muscovies, but a customer of mine gave me 2 more and I just waited until night and put them in there and the next day they were all best friends.

I know they say, if it's possible, there should be a quarantine time just in case. I have heard a week to ten days.

We tried quarantining our Saxony from the rest of the group when we first got her, but she proved too social for that. She repeatedly escaped her quarantine yard to be with the rest of the flock. Eventually we just gave in and let her stay with them. They had their pecking order squabbles but were just fine and are thick as thieves now.
