Getting odd eggs?

Our cochin has been a decent layer. Can't expect much since she's a cochin but for the past several days she didn't lay, she then laid 2 eggs yesterday(one hard, one with no shell). Today though, she laid a small egg with a thin shell, it was fragile and already cracked when I went to gather them. Her diet hasn't changed so the only thing I can think of is the heat. I'm sure the heat causes her to not lay but I'm not sure about the odd eggs we've gotten.

Any stress, including heat waves, can cause a blip in the egg machine.
The heat can also effect how much they are eating and drinking and you may not notice that part.
