Getting ready for eggs

My pullets are five months old. I suspect they will soon be laying. Should I start feeding them oyster shells and laying feed now or should I wait until the first few eggs. They are housed in their chicken tractor and free range an hour or two during the day. Thank u for any help.

Thank you! They are very sweet and very spoiled.
 
I would switch over but it's really your choice whatever you think is right for them.
 
To answer your question you don't need to change anything about their diet until they start laying. Between the chicken tractor and free ranging they are getting a great diet.
