getting ready to build our first coop and run

How steep of a pitch does the ramp have to be?? Also, do you keep the food and water in the coop? I am already planning on having water in the run also.

Don't know about the ramp. I keep food and water in the coop.

I think a 45 degree angle would be a bit too much. But anything less should work.

I keep food and water in the coop and a water bowl outside as well. My chickens free range most of the day.
