Getting settled in to new coop

Last week I got 17 Barred rock hens and brought them home, I figured it would take a while for them to settle in and start laying. On Thur. we got 2 eggs, Fri 2, Sat 4, none on sunday, 1 on Mon. and 1 Tues. My question is how long will it take before they settle down and get in a better routine. My fear is that most of these birds are older and have past their prime, but I want to give them enough time before I jump to any conclusion. Thanks in advance for the help. Todd

They get stressed out from the move. All you can do is wait. May take a few weeks before they lay again. Good Luck, Woody
