hi, i have three silkies and one ameruacana hen.one of the hens is already sitting on a giant clutch of eggs but i have more coming and i need another hen to go broody. i have tried sticking fake and real eggs in the nest boxes but nothing is working. i need to get them broody before tomorrow afternoon. i have heard of the bucket method, and i am tempted to try it. i am really wanting some ideas. please dont post if you are going to say that i wont be able to. all i am looking for is ideas. thanks!

Hens go broody on their own schedule & nothing you do will get them to do it before they want. The best you can do is remove the eggs, store them & wait. Every week remove the old stored eggs & replace them with the newer ones, & wait. Maybe the hens will go broody, maybe they won't, it's a crap shoot.
