Getting the hens to lay in the nest

I have 12 hens. The 2 that are a year old will lay in the nest boxes. Their 10 new sisters seem to lay anywhere in the henhouse except the nesting box. I have even gone out and purchased relistic looking clay eggs and put 2 in each box so they would get the idea. Most days they don't. How do I convince them to lay in the boxes?

How many boxes do you have for them? Maybe they need to lay and there is no box available for them...?

I have 4 boxes; everything I have read has made me to believe 1 box = 4 chickens.
