My two girls that are laying usually use the same nest....which is hilarious when their laying schedules cross near the same time. They have those colored plastic Easter eggs in all three nest, but prefer the nest with the blue egg in it...(heaven help you if you take it out!!) They kicked out the yellow egg, it kept popping open perhaps they thought it was broken?? When it comes down to them both laying at the same time, the nest with the lavender egg is second choice. They don't care for the pink one. The nest with the lavender egg used to have a blue egg in it also, but they took it out and then moved it in with the other blue egg...honest!!! Martha Stewart would be proud.
