getting to lay in box

ok so i have another thread going... with no replies ... but anyway my 2 ees will eventuailly lay and i was curious how im going to get them to lay in the box. it seems dumb but read the other post named hasnt laid sience last molt and you will understand thanks...

My RIR and Leghorn figured it out themselves... My EEs are already laying in the laying boxes, but they are only 8 weeks... Id see if they can figure it out themselves cause once the first hen figures it out the others will. If they can't figure it out buy fake eggs or something

they only go in the coop when the others arent though and they lay and already make nest sort things in the woods

I leave a golf ball in my nests... It's always worked!

place a round object about the size of an egg (a golf ball, wooden, plastic, or real egg all work very well) in the nest box, your hens will get the Idea
