Giant cochin, part 2

Trying to figure out the gender of this bird. Sold to me as a female, and acts female, but seems to have hackle feathers. She has rudimentary spurs, but I guess that's not uncommon. She (?) hangs out with the rooster, and he gives her little treats. On the other hand, when she was scared by a duck she jumped up with her feet out very much like a rooster does. Any ideas? In some of these photos she's standing up tall because she's scared of a duck. Posting a picture of the gray rooster for comparison. Thanks!

agreed, cockerel.
also, don't look for spur buds... males and females both have spur buds. Some hens will even grow spurs. I have a gold spangled hamburg hen who has spurs.

He’s probably just runt like rooster I had the same thing thought hen acted hen then started showing rooster like activity
