I'm quite confused. What exactly is your goal? Olive eggs? Red barring? A new breed? Heavier chickens? Taller chickens?

The end goal is the tallest heaviest bird I can produce. Red crested birds with barring. I will more then likely lose the olive egger trait and I am fine with that. Eventually to put together a standard and gain apa recognition.

I raised Malay chickens for several years. My tallest was 33". They were an unique and fun chicken. My issue with them was that they were poor layers and poor table birds (very tough meat). I really wanted a good dual purpose bird and they just weren't it!
