Giant turkey?

My SIL has a childhood memory of visiting his uncle's farm. He describes a giant attack turkey that had behavior that sounds more like an ostrich to me. I won't say how big he thinks it was because I think it must have just looked bigger to a 7 yr old. What's the biggest turkey you have seen/ heard about?
