Friends divesting part of their Chicken City sent along this chalet. Might be the nicest gift anyone has given me.

What type of ventilation does it have?
The side panels - hardware cloth covered area) slide out (obviously not open over night), the floor is an open grid and the run beneath is heavy duty hardware cloth all around. The sliding door on the bottom looks pretty easy for a critter to figure out so some thought needs putting into that. As far as cross breeze - not so much. Suggestions welcome.

Interesting. An anti dig apron and locks on the doors would help.

Yes indeed and thank you, very good points.
The previous owner is a welder and he added a steel grid base to the bottom. The grid might be 2" - so not small critter proof but it would slow down a fox and such. An apron would be a very good addition👍. Locks of course.

Do the wheels work well?

Might be hot as hades in your climate......keeping it in the shade would probably be a good idea.
The wheels work like a charm. We rolled it up my slight slope with no swearing. Just to the left is a peach tree that will offer some shade in the 2nd half of the day. The coop does face South tho. Good point. I'll have to think on that. It has taken some thought to get things sited out there. There's plenty of sun. It does get a tad warmish up here. It sure did last summer. Thank you for that point. 👍
