Hey guys! My baby chick is about 3 weeks old and I really want to know if it's a girl or boy since roosters arn't alowed in are neighbor hood. So is there a way I can tell? It grows feathers really quickly and has white feathers if that helps. See you later my lovely people!

Difficult without a picture.

The first thing i notice in males is the comb grows a lot faster than the females due to being larger in the adult. You can also look at tail feathers and wings but in my expirience the comb is the give away.

Technically it won't be a rooster til after it is a year old, and it wont start crowing until after 6 or 7 months maybe even longer if it has no other roosters to compete with or learn from. So really until it crows or gets over a year in age no one will even know the difference.

I agree with the above post. I usually can't tell before a chick is around 6-7 weeks old and even then I sometimes guess wrong. (wishful thinking doesn't help LOL when unsure I always guess girl) Wait until your chick is a bit older and post clear pics in this section:
