I put my chicks in a bottomless birdcage and let them peck around in the dirt for a while today. They had fun scratching around and exploring. This is my dog, Max, manning his post. He's so protective of them!

I am glad you have a great guardian! They are all too cute. My dogs watch over my flock too. Even the ones that think they are Houdini. They let the free roamers be but, wont let anything near them. Give the dog a bone! LOL!

Great picture! I've owned several GS and love them. I just don't have a big enough house now. So I downsized in dog size I have a min pin now. lol
