I am still waffling as to the sex of my Brown Leghorn and my Buff Cochin. The Cochin was my "free rare chick" so I thought automatically that it was a boy. I also thought it was a bantam because it was so much smaller than the other chicks. Now, at 16 weeks, it is the same size as the others but hasn't had much comb or wattle development.

The Leghorn is supposed to be a girl but her/his wattles rival those of my big Maran rooster. S/he's confusing me. Neither are crowing/laying yet (otherwise I would already have my answer). Any thoughts? And sorry about the crappy pics...

In the front is my Large fowl hatchery quality Buff Cochin pullet about the same age as yours... If yours is a girl it may have just developed large comb and wattles.

If yours is a hatchery chick too though then maybe it just has a large comb/wattles?
