I bought these Easter Eggers (she was calling them Olive Eggers, but I know that’s not right) about 5 weeks ago. They are 6 weeks old today. I know that there’s no way to tell for sure yet what sex they are, but some of you are so good at guessing that I thought I’d make a post and see how many have it right after a few more weeks. Sorry it’s so many pictures. I was trying to get good angles. The way I identify the reds is that one has yellow legs and the other has grayish. Same with the blacks.

They are precious. Olive eggers, like easter eggers, are a hybrid and can be any color or pattern, can have muffs or not, and can have different skin colors. Hopefully you'll get some olive colored eggs from the pullets.

Yeah, the girl I bought them from says they are Olive Eggers, but they are Aneraucana (hopefully) under a RIR so everything I’ve read says they are just Easter Eggers. Best case scenario they will lay olive eggs, but I will be happy with them no matter what.

I don’t know why I can’t figure out how to edit my original post but here are the same pictures with numbers for each chick. I really hope #2 and #5 are girls and at least one of the black ones. 🙏🏼
