I have 8 chicks, all of them are 4 weeks old. I originally ordered 6 but the hatchery sent me 2 extras. However, I do believe I did not get all pullets as requested (I do know sexing is not 100%) I have attached 2 photos of each and I would love to hear what you all think they are. Below are my guesses:

1-Delaware (Cockerel)
2-Speckled Sussex (Pullet)
3-Delaware (Cockerel)
4-Buff Orpington (Pullet)
5-Australorp (Pullet)
6-Speckled Sussex (Pullet)
7-Jersey Giant (Pullet)
8-Welsummer (Pullet)

I am still hoping the Delaware's are not cockerels since the combs are not big they are just turning red, but it may be wishful thinking lol.

I’d say the first Delaware and the first Speckled Sussex are cockerels, and the rest are pullets. It is really too really to tell for sure, so if you update in a couple weeks, it will be much easier to tell. :) Thanks for the good photos though! So many people ask, “What gender is my chicken?” *cue random blurry photo of a chicken butt* :p

Thank you, if it is those 2 I wouldn’t surprise me cause those are the breeds I got the extras of and if the hatchery was like and we’ll just toss these 2 from the straight run or cockerel boxes lol
