giving a broody foster chicks

I have a broody bantam cochin who was sitting on 5 eggs. On day 14 some animal broke in her broody house and stole ALL of her eggs! Should I give her 3 chicks on day 21 or make her get off the nest? Thank you

You could try giving her chicks-- just be prepared to take care of them if she rejects them.

You don't have to wait until day 21...she sounded like she was already pretty far along.

Give them to her at night, don't try it during the daytime.
