Giving Thanks.

I just wanted to give thanks and appreciation to this site. I being a new chicken and duck owner, I have learned so much off of this site. The collaborated knowledge here is truly exceptional. I’m currently running a duck ICU (I am a nurse) and while she had her leg taken off by a bobcat- she’s doing so well; because of this site. She’s 4 days out, and I do have her on dosage/wt appropriate antibiotics along with pain medication ( all that I learned on this site) and she’s feisty. Feisty and doing so well, to the point I think she’s starting to get sad about not being with her flock. I will post a pic. We named her fighter, only in Spanish. I also want to introduce our little Leo, he’s our Whiting True Blue Roo. His colors were so muted compared to his siblings. He looked like a washed out camo pattern. He’s 3.5 weeks today, and just know he’s going to be the most handsome Rooster ever. Again: thank you! This site is amazing!

I am so glad BYC has been such help to you and your dear bird! BYC is one of a kind, not like other social media. TONS of knowledge within these forums as well. Real and caring members too.
