Just wanted to say hello to my new Family. I am about 6 months in to the chicken world. I have 5 golden comets that are laying and 5 yellow buffs ready to join them in the near future. I also have 5 bb red hens and a roo. My wife and 4 young kids ( a 9yr 7yr and 2 5yr olds live out on my Grandparents old farm . All I can tell people who want to raise chickens is to plan and then plan a little more. I made some mistakes starting out but I know where I want to go with it now. So with your help and blessings I know I will get there. Just living the dream in Ms.
