Glad to have a early broody hen

I knew when it was warm in Feb that it was going to be a good spring but i didnt expect that i would have a broody this early.. I usally have a broody around june or july but yesterday i notice that my hen been sitting on some eggs for a while...MOST of the time my game hens will be the ones to brood but I had an Americanica bantam mix ...I didnt even knew she would even go broody, but I will have chicks early this year....Im just glad I dont have to dust off the bator....

My spring broodies start early, One of my broodies hatched out a chick yesterday! hopefully more to come today. Good luck with your broody! I like to take an assortment of eggs to put under them and get a bunch of breeds from one hatch.
