Well my wife and I are wanting to raise are own chickens mainly for fresh eggs and for the meat once in awhile. But we had no idea where to begin, so after searching internet on how to build coop's I have this site. Everything I needed to know to get started is one here

. So as of now we are in the process of making plans for the coop (which I am def going to to use the poop box with PDZ from thespoiledschickens post). and then once we get that built will decide which hens to get hopefully with the help from everyone here!


This is my first set of plans but think I'm going to make it bigger like 8x12 or so not sure yet?(sorry pic is sideways couldnt get it to rotate)
