I’ve read a lot of the advice in here, but not all. I’m curious though, will your chickens be kept in a run or free range?And for the more experienced in here, would free range chickens need as much supplementation in their feed?

Mine are kept in a 1/4 acre backyard. Not on pure grass but I let it wild. We have blackeyed susans, clovers, curly dock and other forage that attracts bugs and such. No, free range chickens won't need as much supplementation but that depends on the forage and time of year.
